Uniastrum Banks begins cooperation with Greek-Russian Chamber of Commerce

The Bank is to act as a mediator between Russian business interests and the Greek-Russian Chamber of Commerce by organizing and coordinating business links between Greece and the Russian Federation.

In recent years business relations between Russia and Greece have picked up considerably. The partnership struck up by Uniastrum Bank and the Greek-Russian Chamber of Commerce is geared to fortify and expand economic ties between the two countries.

Uniastrum is keen to see that Russian or Greek enterprises seeking to do business in the counterpart country receive comprehensive information on current business practices, as well as top-notch advice on building a strong market position. The Bank’s commitment to forging stronger economic links between the two nations also involves organizing meetings between representatives of the two respective business communities, taking part in various initiatives to boost relations between Russian and Greece, and fielding questions posed by Russian and Greek entrepreneurs.

The Greek-Russian Chamber of Commerce is an independent nonprofit organization set up by members of the Greek and Russian business communities for the purpose of strengthening business and cultural ties between the two countries and lending information and advisory support to firms headquartered in Russia or Greece. The Foreign Trade Chamber is also there to work with local government agencies, to organize various information and promotional events, including exhibitions and ceremonies, and to coordinate other activities targeted at furthering Russian and Greek business relationships.

“Uniastrum Bank is giving go-ahead entrepreneurs a way to expand their horizons even further,” says Michalis Ergatudes, First Vice-President of Uniastrum’s Risk Management Division. “Economic ties between Russia and Greece are currently at a stage where there are plenty of growth opportunities in a whole range of sectors. Our team of experts is well positioned to help Russian and Greek businesses broaden their spectrums and build durable ties between the countries’ business communities”.
