Management reshuffle at Uniastrum Bank

On 19 March, Uniastrum’s Board of Directors passed a decision to appoint Oleg Shvetsov as Chairman of the Bank’s Management Board. In line with legislative requirements, Mr. Shvetsov will serve as acting MB Chairman until the Board’s decision is approved by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

Oleg Shvetsov graduated Moscow Aviation Institute, later gaining an MBA degree from the Open University, London, UK. With a proven track record in the banking sector that stretches back some 18 years, he previously worked at Credobank, MDM Bank, Sobinbank, and Moscow Bank for Reconstruction and Development before joining Uniastrum in 2007 as Vice-President and member of the Management Board.

Outgoing Chairman, Pavel Neumyvakin, is to focus on strategic projects for the Bank of Cyprus Group.
