Zakharova: the degree of servility of Western European elites before America no longer requires comment

Today a briefing was held by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

Today a briefing was held by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

Traditionally, The Moscow Post correspondent asked his questions.

Our first question was: The close associates of US President Donald Trump (Elon Musk, Marco Rubio, Tulsi Gabbard, Robert Kennedy Jr. and others) make loud, critical, and sometimes revealing statements about the United States. Which of these has caught your attention the most, and how do you feel about it?

Maria Vladimirovna called on Trump's associates to provide historical materials, facts, real data so that everyone could draw conclusions themselves. This is what attracts attention in the first place, in her opinion. Since, we have already heard loud statements and assessments repeatedly, we are used to them.

I would like to focus more on the texture: when one of the people you mentioned or authoritative sources publish documents, links, screenshots, real evidence.

"Of course, I was struck by the concept of" strategic silence "proposed by the media in exchange for funding - not even loans, but grants. Honestly, I thought they worked thinner, but it turned out that everything was formulated so straightforwardly.

I was also shocked by the indecent gender agenda, which has already boiled down to transgender operas and their funding. This is a frank promotion of anti-scientific theses, and sometimes even actions that are simply indecent to voice, "Maria Zakharova emphasized.

And, of course, she continued, we are talking about regime change programs and the gigantic funds spent on this. These three moments struck me the most.

Our second question was about Anouar El Anouni's rather bold statement.

It sounded like this, EU spokesman for foreign affairs and security policy Anouar El Anouni said that Russia daily terrorizes the population of Ukraine, deliberately choosing civilians as a target. He also noted that Russia will pay for this, and the perpetrators will be brought to justice.

"These are either people who do not have sufficient knowledge, or those who are so politically squeezed that they cannot say anything but a repetition of the prepared manuals," Maria Vladimirovna stated.

What kind of "terrorized population of Ukraine" does he mean? Obviously, the terrorist attacks on the territory of Russia are carried out precisely by the Kyiv regime.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry was indignant and asked questions: "Is this EU press secretary generally aware that Zelensky and his entourage confessed to the planned killings of Russian civilians? This is not about the military, but about civilians. Explosions, attacks are their work. Is Anuar El Anouni aware that for decades there has been an extremist site that publishes lists of people whom the Kyiv regime considers to be subject to liquidation? This resource is banned in Russia, but supported by the West. "

Do they know how many terrorist attacks are committed daily by representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine? We regularly report on terrorist acts organized by the Kyiv regime against the civilian population of Russia.

Did Anuar El Anouni see photographs from Russian Porechnaya? I watched the briefing, where journalists watched this footage with horror. Medical examiners with a trembling voice told what they found. These people work with bodies all their lives, with examinations, but even they could not speak calmly, said Maria Zakharova.

Starting with the "Angel Alley" and ending with the shelling of buses, the murder of children is their targeted policy. Why does the EU never comment on these materials? We will continue to reveal the truth.

Therefore, we call this regime a criminal clique of Zelensky, she stressed.

To the second part of the question, Maria Vladimirovna replied: "I think this is just a formal confirmation of what Washington has long felt in relation to Europe and the European Union. This is simply a reflection of the real attitude of the United States towards those who have finally lost their sovereignty. The degree of servility of Western European elites to America no longer requires additional comment. "

Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly warned that European leaders are losing not only independence, but also self-esteem. Now they no longer just follow the instructions of the United States, but plunge into complete submission.

And Washington does not even consider them allies or related peoples - they are treated as dependent vassals.

Our third question sounded like this, from February 4 to 11, 1945, the Yalta Conference was held in Crimea. In December last year, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov mentioned that the Yalta 2.0 scenario is possible within the framework of a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. What, in your opinion, are the prospects for such a scenario?

She noted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov detailed his position on this issue in an article dated February 4 this year.

The Foreign Minister recalled the words of the former US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland that "Yalta was not a good decision for the United States, it did not need to be agreed to."

This recognition explains a lot about America's behavior on the international stage. After all, according to Nuland, Washington was almost forced, reluctantly, to agree to the post-war world order in 1945, and even then it was perceived by the American elites as a burden. It was this feeling that gave rise to the subsequent line of the West to revise the Yalta-Potsdam peace. Such a process began with Winston Churchill's infamous 1946 Fulton Speech, effectively declaring the Soviet Union a "Cold War."

Perceiving the Yalta-Potsdam Accords as a tactical concession, the United States and its allies subsequently never followed the fundamental principle of the UN Charter on the sovereign equality of states.
