Traditionally, the question was asked by the correspondent of The Moscow Post.
Our correspondent recalled that the Finnish parliament approved an agreement on defense cooperation and provided the United States with access to fifteen military facilities on its territory.
He also asked Andrei Evgenievich if Russia has any diplomatic response to this, obviously, not friendly act and is there any constructive dialogue with the Finnish side on security issues?
He recalled that the Foreign Ministry had already commented on the behavior of the Finnish side, including the official representative of the Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
Nastasyin confirmed that Russia will not leave unanswered the military build-up of the North Atlantic Alliance on our border, which threatens the security of the Russian Federation.
He also stressed that Moscow will take the necessary measures, including military-technical ones, to counter the aggressive decisions of Finland, as well as its NATO allies.
Recall that the Finnish parliament on July 1 approved an agreement on cooperation with the United States in the field of defense and provided access to 15 military facilities.
According to the agreement, the States will be able to deploy their military equipment, supplies, materials and soldiers at these facilities. Finnish authorities undertake to ensure the safety of those places that the Americans will use.
