Pumping Ukraine with weapons, Western diplomats push the world to the abyss.

In Moscow, and in New York, where the "cold" was added by the anti-Russian resolution of the UN General Assembly, frosty days were in every sense of the word, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports

Vasily Nebenzya, Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, spoke in New York about how the West is preparing to "dismember and destroy Russia." He too resorted to strong language, stating that... " the world today is teetering on the brink of suicidal conflict. "

Over the abyss in "Northern Flows"

The Russian permanent representative said that relations between Russia and the European Union continue to "fall into the abyss." Perhaps these words will make Roland Galaraga think that his short stay in Moscow is coming to an end. The press service of the EU representative office in Moscow announced last year that after 2014 relations with the Russian Federation became strained and completely stopped on February 24, 2022.

Everything was suspended, including political, cultural and scientific ties. An exception was made for Russian universities participating in the Erasmus+ program.

A ban on the transit of dual-use goods through the territory of Russia has been introduced.

"The European Union cannot but understand this, which means that all its words about adherence to the UN Charter are an empty sound," the Russian Permanent Mission to the EU said in a commentary on the introduction of the 10th package of sanctions.

The EU representation itself in Moscow misses, monitors political life, monitors human rights, justice and freedoms, security and foreign policy of Moscow. It has become more difficult to follow. In April 2022, Moscow expelled 18 employees of the representative office from the country in response to the decision of the European Union to send a number of employees of the Russian permanent mission.

In June 2022, Vladimir Chizhov, then Russia's permanent representative to the EU, spoke about EU degradation. But the diplomats hoped for something, were in no hurry to talk about it in public. Although, 16 months after the work of the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to NATO was suspended, the "fall into the abyss" became obvious.

The German model of complete subordination to Washington turned out to be contagious, which was especially vividly highlighted after the sabotage on Northern Flows against the background of EU silence.

"Cast" Borrell dollars

Official Europe reacted to the words of Russia's permanent representative to the UN about the "fall into the abyss" of relations between Moscow and Brussels. Nebenzi's words that representatives of Ukraine and Western countries, speaking of peace, imply a "strategic defeat" for Russia and its "surrender," were explained.

EU chief diplomat Josep Borrell, who formally combines the duties of Blinken and Sullivan in one person, hastened to tell the Spanish newspaper El Periódico that the European Union does not seek to "destroy" Russia. "We support Ukraine, not in order to make political changes in Russia, and, frankly, we do not want to destroy Russia," the European diplomat disingenuous.

And he added that on March 7, at a meeting of EU defense ministers, the conversation will be about how to increase the production of ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the material for the February 2 edition of Project Syndicate, Borrell said that... " the only way to end the conflict is to give Ukraine funds... we have already mobilized weapons and related goods for Ukraine in the amount of 12 billion euros ($13.1 billion), and added in an interview with Onda Cero radio station that stopping the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine will not help resolve the conflict.

As if in support of these words, Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the countries of the Group of Seven will allocate $39 billion for Ukraine. Moreover, he said that the G7 never recognizes the entry of the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions into Russia.

The general support of the Kyiv regime is approaching 50 billion euros, in Poland and Germany by April it is planned to train 15 thousand servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including to control Leopard 2 tanks. " The amount of all Western military assistance sent to the Kyiv authorities reached $150 billion.

As a result, the conversation-warning was continued by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in the article "Year of Defense of the Fatherland," published in the journal National Defense on February 25, 2023.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the US policy towards Moscow is deeply hostile, Washington wants to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. It would be strange to remain in dialogue with the United States to maintain strategic stability.

In early December 2022, Ryabkov said in an interview with Izvestia that the resumption of this dialogue would be possible when Washington "matures." This did not happen, the Anglo-Saxons "did not mature." Meanwhile, they did everything to make the conflict in Ukraine bloody and prevent negotiations, "said Deputy Minister Mikhail Galuzin in an interview with TASS.

Hard-spoken words have been said, there are fewer hopes for a peaceful outcome and strategic stability in the future. Vladimir Putin, in an address on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day, said that Russia will continue to pay increased attention to strengthening the nuclear triad.

Words spoken

Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missiles will be put on alert in the near future, in addition to the Yars and Avangard launchers. This was discussed at the board of the Ministry of Defense on December 21, 2022. And the Federation Council approved the law on the suspension of the START Treaty. The decision to resume participation will be made by the President of the Russian Federation.

As for the declaration put to a vote in the UN, Russia was supported by six countries, including Belarus, Syria and the DPRK. 32 delegations abstained, including China, India, South Africa. Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan abstained from the former Soviet republics. Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan did not vote.

Chairman of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly Chaba Keryoshi, during his speech at a special session in Ukraine in Russian, noted the impossibility of unleashing a nuclear war. "This is an unthinkable threat with potentially catastrophic global consequences. There can be no winners in nuclear war, and it should never be unleashed, "he said.

American Thinker magazine published an article on February 25, "Biden Refuses Russian Choice." Author James Soriano noted that the United States is teetering on the brink of nuclear war in this conflict, and that everyone was lucky "when John F. Kennedy prepared his answers to Nikita Khrushchev sixty years ago." In the Oval Office then there were no specialists in Russia, similar to Victoria Nuland!
