Against the background of the liberated Artemovsk, the heads of the EuroNATO Union themselves did not understand why they were going.
There have been many important events this weekend and there have been landmark coincidences. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the Wagner assault detachments, as well as all servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces on the liberation of Artemovsk. The operation ended with the support of artillery and aviation of the Southern Group of Forces and became an important step towards solving the tasks set within the framework of the SVO, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.
Ukraine was also discussed in the Japanese city of Hiroshima. On Sunday, the next meeting of the leaders of the G7 countries completed work there. Zelensky acknowledged the loss of Artemovsk, while there, among the leaders and guests of the meeting, which Japan organized, as chairman of the 2023 Group of Seven.
Westerners know the history of the genocide in Donbass (who does not know, ask Scholz). Remember that the United States and the leaders of NATO countries cynically refused to prevent the conflict. Do the leaders of the leading countries fear the "golden billion" in the second year of this conflict that the "lines" they draw in Europe and Asia could turn into trenches?
"Mindless Face" asked not to make noise
At a meeting in Hiroshima, they unwittingly had to think about it. Recall that this city on August 6, 1945 was subjected to an American atomic bombing. Joe Biden became the second sitting US president to visit Hiroshima. Words of apology or regret for the barbaric act of destroying civilians were also not heard from him. The Anglo-Saxons once again showed their soulless and mindless "face."
The Japanese, whose rulers were guilty, were forgotten, but China, which did nothing wrong, was run over by the entire Western team. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that the G7 has one goal for the PRC, called China "the challenge of our century," and not only for global security, but also for prosperity. He did not explain why, there was a lot of work ahead.
In particular, I had to accept a statement on Ukraine, promise Kyiv "diplomatic, financial, humanitarian and military support." Further, they threatened Russia with "raising costs," said that they intend to shit at those countries and companies that support it. They called on China to put pressure on Moscow to stop the SVO and withdraw troops.
Separately, they muttered hesitantly that they "do not seek to harm China and interfere with its economic development," reaffirmed their commitment to the "one China" policy, peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait. The price of such a "do not dirty" promise is not high. Everything is already laid on the pages of documents of the United States and the European Union, in which China is called a systemic threat. Fangs in the West stick out.
In particular, US President Joe Biden at a press conference threatened Beijing with a response in the event of "unilateral steps" against Taiwan.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was in the choice of words softer, stressed that no one is interested in completely breaking economic ties with the PRC. As they say, who has what hurts, and Germany depends on China even more than Japan. But it is not accepted for politicians to speak openly about this, the topic was left to journalists.
The heads of NATO and Japanese countries expressed concern about the situation in the South China and East China Seas, although NATO's plans in this region were kept silent. But China has been warned against militarizing the region. Beijing has made Tokyo a representation for defamation and interference by the G7 in its affairs.
And you shut up there we do not discuss money
The list of coincidences and revelations was not limited to this. At a press conference following the summit, Joe Biden admitted that he could not guarantee that the republican opposition would not provoke a sovereign default by its actions. He also said that he was studying the Fourteenth Amendment to the US Constitution and assessing his powers, recalled that the United States never declared a default. Maybe so, but he had to return to Washington urgently.
G7 leaders did not discuss this topic. Why? This can be understood from the tone of Joe Biden's communication with journalists in Hiroshima. He was asked how concerned he was about negotiations on public debt in America, to which he replied "not at all." When a reporter from one of the publications tried to ask him a similar question, he replied: "Shut up already, okay?" He paused and continued: "I still believe that we can avoid default and do something decent." On this, the conversation about default with the press was over.
The chief of staff was sleepy
It seems that the confrontation with Moscow has become the main meaning of the existence of the "seven," the group literally "fixated" on Russia, became the "headquarters for planning sanctions measures," the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.
Biden, as chief of staff, was in charge of this part of the program. He said that the new tranche of assistance to Ukraine includes ammunition for HIMARS MLRS and artillery pieces, anti-tank weapons, and bridge-stackers, as well as armored ambulances, trucks and trailers for transporting heavy equipment.
Sleepy Joe informed G7 leaders that Washington would support allies in training Ukrainian pilots on fighter jets, including F-16s. But the supply of fighters to Kyiv in the situation with Artyomovsky would not help, Biden said at a press conference.
The Group of Seven has degraded under the new conditions of global polarization. Or, as the Russian diplomatic service put it, has turned into "an incubator where destructive initiatives are ripening under the leadership of the Anglo-Saxons, shaking global stability."
Conditional "pets" were invited to the incubator: on May 20, the leaders of Australia, Brazil, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Cook Islands, the Union of Comoros, South Korea and Ukraine appeared at the summit.
With them, the "main staff" shared anti-Russian and anti-Chinese reports, told how to live on, discouraged developing ties with Russia and the PRC. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking at the XXXI Assembly of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, added to this definition such a concept as a "fault line" between the West and the world majority.
AKUSor contract for three
The White House noted that Joe Biden positively assessed the "bold efforts" of South Korea and Japan to improve their bilateral ties. Knowing about the history of problems in relations between Seoul and Tokyo, he invited colleagues to a tripartite meeting in Washington. The viability of the design, called the Indo-Pacific region and aimed at China, Russia and the DPRK, depends on South Korea to a certain extent. Maybe they understand it, but they can't do anything. Risk falling out with closest neighbors and business partners.
During the meeting on the sidelines of the G7, the leaders of the United States, the Republic of Korea and Japan discussed trilateral cooperation, including ways to counter the "nuclear missile threat" from the DPRK. The Seven condemned its nuclear missile program, ballistic missile launches, called on Pyongyang to accept proposals for dialogue. Asked to refrain from any actions that could lead to destabilization or escalation, including any nuclear tests.
Then the Group of Seven, forgetting about the joint exercises of the US and South Korean troops, hit pacifism, said that it stands with all its heart for a nuclear-free world, peaceful use of nuclear energy, disarmament and non-proliferation. That's just to sell Australia American nuclear submarines with missiles, but this does not count! Everything is done to "create a more stable and secure world." The Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) has been called the "cornerstone of the global nuclear non-proliferation regime," although it is planned to be violated under AUKUS.
And something was said about grain
Then we moved on to global problems and, as it were, common concerns. The Group of Seven expects to raise $100bn this year to fight climate change, welcomes all funding, including private, to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement. The main thing is that greenhouse gas emissions become less, and development would be sustainable.
Nothing that is fighting in Ukraine, and the safety of nuclear power plants under threat and supply chains to energy markets are violated, the main thing is that "the goal of greenhouse gas emissions is not lost" and achieve zero indicators no later than 2050, if we live!
Leaders would like to abolish all subsidies for projects with inefficient use of fossil fuels by 2025, favorably allow investment in gas projects (as a temporary measure), confirmed the irreplaceability of safe nuclear reactors, but not in Germany.
The G7 confirmed that all previously adopted climate settings do not change, geopolitical conditions do not interfere with this. They forgot, however, to ask Russia for an opinion. According to the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin, Russia will have to focus on its own capabilities and partners in BRICS. Approaches to tackling climate change should be reconsidered to move away from Western installations, he said. He was supported by the President's Special Representative for Climate Issues Ruslan Edelgeriev.
In addition to climate issues, the G7 countries said something about "grain from Ukraine" and fertilizers, without naming producers. They pledged not to test anti-satellite missiles, said they want to preserve the NPT. They showed that they are very afraid of China and the DPRK's nuclear missile program.
They showed that they would like to tie India, Australia and South Korea to themselves. They hid that they intend to support the rearmament of Japan. Joe Biden asked Indian Prime Minister Modi for an autograph, as if goodbye to a possible impeachment, and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida helped a tall American guest navigate the space. Japan is a country of polite people, as long as they have no weapons and political support for the good-wishers from Washington and London.
